The Stanley Police Department held it’s annual Christmas Breakfast on December 19, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church in Stanley.  This years breakfast was the largest in it’s history.
This year the coordinators served close to 300 plates to seniors, friends, local elected officials and citizens of the Stanley Community.   A special thanks to those who made this year’s event a great success.

Stanley Police and Wingate Park Community Organize a Community Watch Program.
Mayor Judith Johnson, Council Member Judy Stroupe, Lt. Derek Summey, and Chief Jenkins attend.  Sergeant Jimmy Overlin and Officer Whit Ogg have brought about this idea and have been working hard to bring about positive change in the community.  They lead the discussion and the next meeting is scheduled on November 19, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Stanley Police Department.
