The following Photos are from a special presentation on Monday night at the council meeting.  This was to recognize two young individuals, one was 16 years old for rendering aid to a man who went unconscious while in the parking lot of Bi-L0 in Stanley.  The brave teenanger and the other citizen, without hesitation went to assist.  The victim did die, however, they did everything they could to save his life.  

The victim’s survivors were present during the ceremony which was very emotional for all.  The deceased was Mr. Billy Jenkins and the survivors present were his wife and mother, Cathy and Mary Lou respectfully.
